To obtain a Technician Class Amateur Radio License, you must obtain a passing grade on the Element 2 examination. The written exam for the Technician Class Amateur Radio license consists of 35 multiple choice questions from the pool of approximately 500 questions. The examination covers FCC regulations, radio technical topics and operating practices.

This means that sucessive test sessions will not contain the exact same questions as the previous session.
